Nani’s action drama The Paradise is once again in the spotlight, this time over its much-awaited OTT release.
The film, directed by Srikanth Odela, arrived in theatres on September 24, 2026. Now, several reports are suggesting that the movie could make its digital debut on October 22.
However, viewers should note that October 22 is currently a reported date, not an officially confirmed release date. The filmmakers and streaming platform have yet to make a formal announcement confirming the exact premiere date.
The Paradise OTT Platform: Netflix Reportedly Has the Rights
Netflix is expected to be the streaming home for The Paradise.
Reports have identified Netflix as the film's post-theatrical streaming partner, with the platform's association also reportedly indicated in the theatrical release. Earlier reports had confirmed that the movie would move to Netflix after its cinema run, although an exact digital premiere date was not announced at the time.
If the latest reports prove accurate, audiences could watch Nani's film on Netflix from October 22.
Until an official announcement arrives, however, viewers should treat the date as provisional.
Why October 22 Is Being Reported
The October 22 date has surfaced in recent entertainment reports as the expected digital premiere for The Paradise.
The film released in cinemas on September 24, meaning October 22 would put its reported OTT debut at roughly four weeks after the theatrical release.
That is a relatively short theatrical-to-digital window compared with the six-to-eight-week period previously discussed by some reports. This is one reason the exact date should be treated cautiously until Netflix or the makers confirm it.
The Paradise: What Is the Film About?
Set in 1980s Secunderabad, The Paradise follows Jadal, played by Nani, and his connection with the marginalised Savaari community.
The story revolves around power, social inequality and resistance. Jadal gradually emerges as a figure who challenges the system controlling his community.
Mohan Babu plays Shikanja Maalik, a powerful landlord, while Raghav Juyal plays his son Vikram Malik. The film also features Sonali Kulkarni and Kayadu Lohar in important roles.
The film marks another collaboration between Nani and director Srikanth Odela following their earlier work on Dasara.
Could the OTT Version Be Different?
There has also been speculation that the digital version could contain changes from the theatrical cut.
Reports have suggested that the team has discussed adding or modifying material for the OTT version, including the possibility of a new Telugu song for a particular sequence. These reports have not been presented as a confirmed Netflix announcement, so viewers should wait for official details before assuming that the streaming cut will be substantially different.
When Can You Watch The Paradise on OTT?
At present, the situation can be summed up simply:
Film: The Paradise
Lead Actor: Nani
Director: Srikanth Odela
Theatrical Release: September 24, 2026
Reported OTT Platform: Netflix
Reported OTT Date: October 22, 2026
Official Date: Awaited
The October 22 date is therefore best viewed as a reported/provisional date until Netflix or the filmmakers officially confirm it.
The Paradise OTT Release: What Fans Should Know
For Nani fans who missed The Paradise in theatres, the reported October 22 release could bring the film to a much wider audience.
The movie has already generated considerable attention because of its action-heavy storyline, Nani's performance and the reunion of Nani with Srikanth Odela.
But for now, fans should avoid treating October 22 as a locked release date. The safest update is that The Paradise is expected to stream on Netflix, with October 22 being reported as the possible date, while official confirmation is still awaited.
OTT release dates can change. This article reflects the latest available reports and will be updated when the streaming platform or filmmakers issue an official announcement.
